We frequently get asked this question and a large part of the cost is determined by the materials chosen and whether the layout of the existing bathroom is to remain the same.  An example below is of a small bathroom; 5 feet wide by 10 feet long.  We will assume the existing layout is remaining (no re-routing of plumbing lines). Labor Costs:

·  Demo: $500

·  Install backerboard and waterproofing: $500

·  Install Floor Tile: $1000-2000

·  Install Shower Tile: $1000-2000

·  Paint/Prep all walls, doors and trim: $500-1000

·  Plumber (connect tub, toilet, vanity and fixtures): $1500-$4500

Average Labor Costs: ~$7,750

Average Total Cost: ~$10,750
